I had to reach out to Pet Valu because one item was missing from my online order, and I was bracing myself for a whole dramatic saga. But the person on chat was actually really nice and didn’t make it feel like a huge ordeal at all. They just looked into it, got everything sorted, and set up the refund quickly. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the wait time felt a little eternal, but once I got through, they were polite, helpful, and made the whole thing way less stressful than I expected.

Had a small issue at first, so I emailed them and they ended up fixing it. Took a bit, but it got handled, so... overall okay.

I ordered some cat food and litter online, and the checkout was really easy. The pickup email come fast too. When I got there, everything was already ready and I didn’t have any issues at all

I’ve actually found the rewards to be really helpful, especially when it comes to buying pet food. Even saving a little here and there makes a difference, since those bags of food add up quickly.

I do like shopping here, but the online prices have been feeling high lately. The deals don’t really seem that great, and it’s frustrating when I find the same food cheaper at other places. Sometimes it feels like I’m kind of stuck using the store even though I know I could be saving more somewhere else.

I used the self pet wash at Pet Valu and overall it was okay. The tub and dryer worked fine, and the staff were nice when I asked for extra towels, so that part was good. But the area was still kind of messy from the dog before us, and it just gave me a not-great feeling. Nothing major, but I really wish it had been cleaned up better between pets

I accidentally bought the wrong size harness, but swapping it out was no big deal at all. The staff checked my receipt, helped me find the right size, and had me on my way quickly. it was exactly how an exchange should be

To be fair, the order did eventually move along, but the updates felt a little sketchy and unclear, which made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be. I reached out to support hoping they could clear things up, but they didn’t really offer much help. I’m not trying to be harsh, I just think customers should get straightforward updates and a bit more useful support when there’s confusion.

I use petvalu.ca regularly for my dog’s food and cat treats, and overall I’ve had a really good experience. They have a solid selection, and I love that they carry a bunch of the brands my pets actually get excited about. Every now and then something I want is out of stock, which is a little frustrating, but I can usually find a decent alternative without much trouble. I do wish the filters were a bit more helpful, but the site is still easy enough to browse. It’s not perfect, but it’s convenient, and I usually end up finding exactly what I need.

I ordered two bags, but one of them showed up in the wrong size. Kind of frustrating because I was expecting both to be correct. The other one was fine, but getting the wrong size was definitely NOT ideal...

I ordered some food and treats on petvalu and did curbside pickup the same day. Shockingly, it was actually easy. The staff came out quickly and were friendly, which was a nice change from the usual waiting-around experience you kind of expect with these things. No hassle at all, so yes, I’ll probably use it again.

I’m usually skeptical of all the polished “we care about your pet” type language companies use, but the staff here were genuinely helpful. They actually listened and seemed to know what my dog needed instead of just giving me some generic answer. That made me feel a lot better about going there.

My dog used to eat this food with no problem, but the last bag we got smelled a little off and the kibble looked different than usual. Even my husband noticed it when we opened the bag. After that, my dog started getting picky and didn’t seem as excited to eat it. I’m not sure if something changed, but I’m hesitant to buy it again

I do like ordering from Pet Valu, but it’s frustrating how often my cat food shows as out of stock or not available for pickup. Half the time I end up having to check other stores anyway, which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering ahead. I just wish they’d take more responsibility for keeping the online inventory accurate or at least make it clearer when something isn’t actually available.

There were a ton of treats, which was awesome and my pet was very happy about that. The toy selection was fine, I guess, but it could definitely use more variety. Like, I was excited opening it, then kind of underwhelmed by the toys. Still, not a bad box overall.

I ordered my dog food from Pet Valu the whole checkout process was way smoother than most online stores. Usually these sites make you re-enter everything 10 times or randomly lose your cart, but this one just worked. My cart stayed saved, the coupons applied without any drama, payment went through fast, and the confirmation email showed up right away. Nothing over-the-top to say, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. 5 stars from me
